Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our pressure washing services

How much does pressure washing cost?

Pricing depends on the surface type, area size, and level of cleaning needed. Residential driveways typically start around $150–$250, while full house washes range from $250–$500. Commercial projects are quoted individually. We provide free, no-obligation estimates for every job — no hidden fees.

Will I get the lowest price from A Plus?

We know our pricing is competitive. We'll meet or beat any true competitor's pricing — those that are licensed, insured, and can deliver comparable results. Our free sample spot demonstration will show results 2 to 10 times more dramatic than most competitors. We always do our best to earn repeat customers and referrals.

Will pressure washing damage my surfaces?

Not when done by professionals. We adjust our pressure, nozzle tips, and cleaning solutions based on the surface material. Delicate surfaces like wood siding, stucco, and roofs receive our low-pressure soft wash treatment. Concrete and brick can handle full-pressure cleaning safely.

What's the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?

Pressure washing uses high-pressure water (1,500–4,000 PSI) to clean hard surfaces like concrete and brick. Soft washing uses low pressure (under 500 PSI) with specialized cleaning solutions to safely clean delicate surfaces like roofs, siding, and stucco. The quality of our commercial chemicals enables us to turn the pressure down while delivering a deeper, longer-lasting clean.

How often should I have my property pressure washed?

For most homes, annual pressure washing is recommended. High-traffic commercial properties may benefit from quarterly or monthly cleaning. Roofs should be cleaned every 2–3 years. We can create a maintenance schedule tailored to your property's specific needs.

Do you use chemicals? Are they safe?

We use professional-grade, biodegradable cleaning solutions approved by OSHA and the EPA. We carry Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all products. Our solutions are safe for plants, pets, and the environment. We pre-spray plants and grass with water so any chemical that may ricochet will not soak in.

Does pressure washing kill mold?

Pressure alone will not kill mold — spores stay and continue to grow back rapidly, even through new paint. Only proper commercial chemical treatment kills mold and resists regrowth. We are able to remove most kinds of green, brown, and black streaking using our specialized solutions.

Couldn't I just rent equipment and do it myself?

Our industrial hot water equipment is not available for rent — it can only be purchased at professional pressure washing stores. The right equipment and commercial chemical solutions are key to a safe and effective job. Most of our commercial customers own pressure washers but rely on us for heavy-duty cleaning.

How does A Plus stay ahead of the competition?

We constantly educate ourselves — attending conventions, trade shows, seminars, and manufacturer demos on the latest chemicals and techniques. We use OSHA and EPA-approved chemicals with a 40-degree wide angle nozzle at low pressure. Our methods are approved by the American Hardboard Association and the American Vinyl Siding Institute.

What can I expect from A Plus Power Cleaning?

We show up on time and guarantee all work. We are licensed and insured. We arrive in branded vehicles, our employees wear A Plus Power Cleaning shirts, and maintain a professional attitude. We stay until your job is as clean as safe pressure washing will allow.

How long does a typical pressure washing job take?

A standard residential driveway takes 1–2 hours. A full house wash typically takes 2–4 hours. Commercial projects vary based on scope. We'll provide a time estimate during your free consultation.

Do I need to be home during the service?

For most exterior cleaning jobs, you don't need to be present. We just need access to an outdoor water spigot and electrical outlet. We'll coordinate access details and notify you when the job is complete.

Are you insured?

Yes, we carry comprehensive general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. We're happy to provide certificates of insurance upon request for any project.

Can you remove stubborn oil stains?

Sometimes pressure washing will totally remove an oil stain. For stubborn stains that have penetrated porous concrete, there is an incredible dry cleaning method that continues to dissolve oil even after we leave.

Can you safely clean stucco and wood?

Absolutely. Our machines have adjustable pressure and we utilize wide-angle nozzles. We clean delicate surfaces like stucco and wood with safe low pressure. The key is utilizing the correct commercial chemical solution for each surface type.

Do you offer commercial maintenance contracts?

Yes, we offer weekly, monthly, and quarterly maintenance plans for commercial properties. Regular maintenance prevents buildup, maintains appearance, and can significantly reduce long-term cleaning costs.

What areas do you serve?

We serve 40+ cities throughout Metro Atlanta including Marietta, Roswell, Alpharetta, Kennesaw, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Smyrna, Buckhead, Decatur, and many more. Check our service areas page for a complete list.
